ScanTheGap is a web-based platform that scans publicly available online data sources and uses artificial intelligence to identify, score, and present market gap opportunities and product ideas. The service is provided on a subscription basis with a free trial option.
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. ScanTheGap is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
ScanTheGap offers paid subscription plans billed monthly in Euros. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Free trial: New users may access a limited free trial with no credit card required. Trial limitations are as described on our pricing page.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining days of the current period unless covered by our money-back guarantee.
Money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of a paid subscription, contact us at info@scanthegap.com for a full refund. No questions asked.
Price changes: We will give at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices for existing subscribers.

ScanTheGap and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by ScanTheGap and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The scan results you generate using the service are yours to use for your own personal and commercial purposes. You may not resell or sublicense access to raw platform output as a standalone data product.
ScanTheGap is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that scan results are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Market opportunity scores are AI-generated estimates based on publicly available data and should be used as one input to your decision-making, not as definitive business advice. We are not responsible for any business decisions made based on scan results.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScanTheGap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service temporarily for maintenance, security, or technical reasons. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the service. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts applicable to the registered operator of ScanTheGap.
