1. Service Description

ScanTheGap is an AI-powered market gap discovery tool for solo developers and indie hackers. It collects publicly available data from online sources and uses AI to identify and score product opportunities.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ScanTheGap. By registering you confirm you are using the service for business or professional purposes.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • One account per person — do not share accounts
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate access to the ScanTheGap platform
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent scan limits or access controls
  • Resell or redistribute scan results as your own product or service
  • Use the service to harm, harass, or deceive others

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Scan results are generated by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, legal, or business advice. Results may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before acting on it. ScanTheGap makes no guarantee of the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of results for any particular purpose.

6. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges. See our Refund Policy for cancellation terms.

7. Intellectual Property

ScanTheGap owns all rights to the platform, software, and branding. You own your exported scan data. You do not own scan results while they remain in the platform — they are licensed to you for personal use during your subscription.

8. Limitation of Liability

ScanTheGap is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hamburg, Germany.
